Yes, you read it right and it’s a fact which you might already be aware of. According to researchers, a new study clearly warn that sitting continuously can increase death risk by almost 50 per cent, the people whom work demand mostly sitting at desk, are at higher risk and it’s a warning for them, as through a research, it found that office workers who sit for longer than 10 hours a day at their desk had a 48 per cent increase in risk of death, in comparison to people who sat for less than four hours a day.  But without hampering your output and counteract this health risk, try to move around in-between, introduce five minutes of activity every hour and make sure you take regular breaks away from your desk. Just make sure to not sit longer, do simple exercise, like bending forward- backward, right and left, move your neck in circular, take the stairs instead of the lift and do these as a regular habit.
